80 hours per fortnight (1FTE)

Child, Adolescent and Family Services (CAFS) Hawke's Bay is looking for an experienced and passionate nurse to work as a mental health nurse in the team.

As a mental health nurse, you will provide assessment and treatment of children 0-19 years old presenting with moderate to severe mental health problems with the support of the multidisciplinary team. You will also carry a caseload where you will demonstrate your clinical and case management skills.

We are seeking a nurse with previous experience in CAMHS services who is highly motivated to join our team. The post requires specialist skills and knowledge that are demanded within a child and adolescent mental health setting.

You need to have an advanced understanding of child and adolescent mental health together with expert awareness of the dynamics and treatment opportunities and modalities.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must along with a good sense of humour and full driver's licence.
