Project Support Coordinator

Werry Workforce Whāraurau are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our diverse and supportive team environment.

Werry Workforce Whāraurau (https://werryworkforce.org/) focuses on workforce development into the mental health and wellbeing of infants, children, and adolescents and those who care for them. Werry Workforce provides national training and workforce development within the child and adolescent mental health, education, and wellbeing sectors, and works alongside the other three Ministry funded Mental Health Workforce Centres. This appointment is through UniServices, Australasia's largest University research company which is owned by the University of Auckland and responsible for providing the University's research expertise to government and industry.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Experience in planning and coordinating to scope, communicate and support events.
  • Problem solving skills to set up and provide support of on the day and pre/post event coordination.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience using Premier Pro, Vimeo, InDesign and Canva to edit videos preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and develop professional relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and administration to undertake tasks related to assigned projects.
  • High attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will also promote a positive understanding of child and adolescent mental health and wellbeing and ensure principles of Treaty of Waitangi are supported and implemented in delivery of service.

You must also be highly adaptable as, with advanced notice, some travel and/or flexibility of when hours are worked for events, may be required for this role.
